About the Artist

Mr. Rowland has exhibited work throughout the United States. His primary works are in egg tempera and watercolors. His love of realism and detail can be traced to his background as an Architect.

Most of his major works are in egg tempera on large panels prepared in traditional ways. His most recent work is based on capturing the movement of the human figure in modern dance. He has great fun experimenting with adult presentation of children's themes. His most recent works are titled "Jack be Nimble, Jill be Quick," "Alice Through the Looking Glass," and "Blood on the Sun."
